Description

MuxLab HDMI 2.1 48Gbps Audio De-embedder is a modern HDMI audio extraction solution designed for installations where audio needs to be separated from an HDMI source or an ARC-compatible TV, while maintaining the video signal to a local display. It supports audio extraction to both analog stereo output and digital S/PDIF output, making it a flexible option for both residential and professional AV environments.

The unit is HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3 compliant, supporting 48Gbps FRL and 18Gbps TMDS video bandwidth. It can handle video resolutions up to 8K/60Hz 4:2:0 12-bit and 4K/120Hz 4:4:4 12-bit, making it well suited for today’s high-performance AV setups.

It also supports modern HDMI 2.1 protocols such as VRR, ALLM, QMS, QFT, and SBTM, along with HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG pass-through. For audio, it supports LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Atmos, DTS-HD Master, and DTS:X audio pass-through, while allowing audio de-embedding from HDMI input audio or TV ARC audio to S/PDIF and L/R audio output.

The device also features HDMI loop-out for connection to a local display, along with advanced EDID management, cable equalization, and CEC control from output devices to input sources, helping simplify integration in real-world installations.
