Description

Allen & Heath GX4816, a 96kHz, 48 XLR input, 16 XLR output audio expander that provides high-input-count remote expansion for SQ, Avantis and dLive mixing systems, and for AHM audio matrix processors.

The GX4816 provides 48 microphone preamps and 16 Balanced, relay protected line outputs on XLR. Additionally, 2 DX ports are provided for connection to up to 4 DX Expanders for further I/O expansion or φορ the ME Personal Monitoring System (not on dLive or AHM). No configuration required, just connect to your mixer and you’re ready to go. Firmware updates are handled automatically by the mixer. The GX4816 can be used with dLive systems via the use of a gigaACE card installed in a dLive MixRack or Surface. The GX4816 can be placed up to 100m away from the mixer for maximum flexibility of positioning and features integrated rack-ears for mounting in a 5U 19/" space.
