AlphaTheta XDJ-AN, standalone professional 2-channel, 2-deck all-in-one DJ system featuring a 7-inch color touchscreen, built-in Wi-Fi, access to streaming services and cloud-based music libraries, Bluetooth Input/Output, SonicLink wireless monitoring and compatibility with rekordbox, Serato DJ and djay.
With built-in Wi-Fi and StreamingDirectPlay support, the XDJ-AN enables direct music browsing and playback from Apple Music, Beatport Streaming and TIDAL. Through rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, it also provides access to the users rekordbox music library and tracks stored on Dropbox or Google Drive. Playlists and Hot Cues edited directly on the unit can be synchronized via the cloud with the users other devices.
The XDJ-AN also supports playback from USB storage devices using the OneLibrary format. This allows DJs to prepare tracks and playlists in rekordbox or other compatible software and use the same USB device both for home practice and live performances.
The 7-inch color touchscreen, with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, provides direct access to music sources, playlists and the systems main functions. The display shows track lists, artwork, waveforms, BPM, musical key, Loops, tempo and a wide range of additional performance information.
The two 132mm jog wheels and club-style control layout provide a familiar and responsive mixing experience. The mixer section includes six Sound Color FX — Space, Dub Echo, Sweep, Noise, Crush and Filter — along with three Beat FX: Reverb, Echo and Flanger.
SonicLink allows compatible wireless headphones to be connected with latency as low as 9ms. This enables DJs to monitor their performance wirelessly, without any noticeable audio delay.
The Bluetooth Input function allows wireless audio playback from a smartphone or another compatible device, while Bluetooth Output can transmit the audio signal to compatible wireless speakers or headphones. The XDJ-AN also works with the DJM-REC app, enabling DJs to record and livestream their sets through a connected mobile device.
For use with a computer or mobile device, the system is compatible with rekordbox for Mac, Windows and iOS, djay Pro for Mac and Windows, djay for iOS, as well as Serato DJ Lite and Serato DJ Pro. rekordbox for Mac and Windows operates via Hardware Unlock, without requiring a separate software licence.
