Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2, a professional 4-channel, 4-deck standalone DJ system featuring a 10.1-inch colour touchscreen, full-size 8-inch jog wheels, MPCe performance pads, onboard Stems, an integrated DMX interface, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an independent Zone output.
The PRIME 4 G2 can operate without a computer, playing music from USB drives, SD cards or an internal SATA drive. It supports simultaneous control of four decks and features a 4-channel mixer section with independent EQ, Sweep FX and extensive routing options.
The 10.1-inch colour multi-touch display features a resolution of 1280 x 800, providing direct access to the music library, waveforms, deck settings, mixer and performance functions. An 8-core ARM processor and 4GB of RAM support the simultaneous operation of the systems advanced features.
The full-size 8-inch jog wheels offer high-resolution control and feature integrated RGB LED displays that show cue position and Stems status information. The 16 MPCe performance pads are velocity- and pressure-sensitive and use 3D-sensing technology, allowing multiple functions and parameters to be combined within a single pad.
The PRIME 4 G2 supports onboard Stem separation, with dedicated Acapella and Instrumental controls, a Stems pad mode, Stem Level EQ and dedicated Stem effects. This allows DJs to isolate or remove vocals and instrumental elements directly from the unit and create mashups, edits and new versions of tracks in real time.
The FX system includes two independent Main FX modules with more than 25 effects, toggle paddles and Favorite FX buttons, 10 latch-enabled Touch FX, fader-triggered Fader FX and 4 Sweep FX with a dedicated control on each channel.
The integrated Engine Lighting system, powered by SoundSwitch, enables direct control of DMX lighting systems without an external interface. The physical DMX output supports one universe with 512 channels, while compatible SoundSwitch interfaces allow the use of up to two universes and 1024 channels. Smart-lighting control for Philips Hue and Nanoleaf is also supported.
Built-in dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi provides access to streaming services including Amazon Music Unlimited, Apple Music, Beatport, SoundCloud Go+ and TIDAL. According to the manufacturer, Spotify support is scheduled for 2027. Bluetooth 5.4 is also included, allowing audio from a smartphone or tablet to be imported and mixed through the Bluetooth Deck.
The Main, Booth and Zone outputs use balanced XLR connections. The Zone output can play an individual deck or playlist through a separate sound system and also features an independent Cue function. This allows, for example, different music to be played in the main venue and a second room without requiring an additional player.
For external audio sources, the system features two stereo RCA Line/Phono inputs on channels 3 and 4, along with two Combo XLR/TRS microphone inputs. The microphone section includes 3-band EQ, Echo, Reverb, Talkover and Anti-Feedback, while the Mic 2 input can also operate as a line or instrument input.
Audio conversion is handled by an ESS ES9017S 32-bit DAC, providing a dynamic range of up to 119dB through the balanced outputs and a maximum output level of +20dBu. The PRIME 4 G2 also includes two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, an SD card slot and an internal SATA 3.0 bay for installing a storage drive.
OmniSource support for the simultaneous use of standalone sources and DJ software such as Serato, Algoriddim and VirtualDJ is listed in the supplied material as scheduled for late 2026.
