QSC LS218 is a self-powered 18-inch subwoofer delivering 5000 W peak power via a Class D amplifier, with a maximum SPL of 141 dB and a frequency response of XX Hz – XX Hz (-6 dB) and 35 Hz – 111 Hz (-10 dB). It is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with the QSC LA108 and LA112 active line array systems.
The Acoustic Linear Phase (ALP) design enables smooth and coherent integration with other QSC loudspeakers within the same sound system. The LS218 provides daisy-chain connectivity for analog audio, Dante® networked digital audio, and AC power via PowerCON TRUE1. Two or more LS218 units can be configured in a cardioid arrangement, maximizing low-frequency output to the front while minimizing unwanted energy to the sides and rear of the system.
Featuring a rugged plywood enclosure with a durable Polyurea coating for long-term reliability, the LS218 can be deployed alongside the LA108 or LA112 active line array loudspeakers using an array frame/ground-stack adapter or loudspeaker poles, in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
When connected to the QSC SysNav (System Navigator) application, users can easily design, configure, control, monitor, and apply signal processing to individual subwoofers, full arrays, or grouped systems.
