  • Multi-stage capsule design transcends previous electret limitations
  • Enhanced clarity in critical frequency ranges
  • Cardioid polar pattern
  • Unparalleled tonal consistency
  • Rugged design and construction for extended lifespan

Electret Principle Upgraded to New Level
The KK 14 captures the characteristic sound of acoustic instruments with accuracy and neutrality. It transcends previous limitations of the electret principle to deliver extended bass and midrange with assured elegance in the treble. With maximum SPL of 153, the KK 14 is open to all details.

Eight Components of Perfection
To achieve this, Neumann engineers reconsidered the production process for electret-based microphones. Neumann chose a multi-stage structure where each KK 14 unit is manufactured and designed to deliver the perfect result. Components are then hand-assembled in Germany. This eliminates typical compromises while offering unparalleled acoustic properties. While the titanium housing reflects the robust design, it also expresses the internal elegance in design and engineering.
Tonal Consistency and Design - Durability in All Conditions
The multi-stage design also provides an unheard level of tonal consistency - every capsule sounds exactly the same. This saves engineers time on basic EQ work and delivers consistent sound from first soundcheck. The system is built for years of service, not just one season. Its modular design allows easy spare parts replacement. Nine mounting clips enable reliable placement on any instrument. The system connects with all major wireless systems and includes cable options for 3.5 mm jack, Lemo, mini-XLR 4-pin, MicroDot or wired connection.
