The MC-1 is a professional dynamic microphone developed for modern stage and studio recording requirements. In the past, professional stage microphones for vocalists were designed to boost the voice, particularly in rock and other forms of electric music, where sound quantity mattered more than quality.

PA system technology has evolved considerably, and performance has improved dramatically. This means we need microphones that are more neutral and respect the natural timbre of the voice. With this goal in mind, a new generation of dynamic microphones was created to keep pace with equipment evolution, both on stage and in the studio.
