Description
The Return of a Legend!
The Foxy Tone Box from Warm Audio is an excellent recreation of one of the most sought-after and beloved fuzz pedals of all time. Used in the early 1970s by legendary guitarists Billy Gibbons and Peter Frampton, and today by Adrian Belew, Nine Inch Nails, and Beck.
Covered externally with thick orange velvet like the vintage pedal, the Foxy Tone Box faithfully recreates the vintage circuit and delivers incredible tone and octaver without the outrageous prices of the original.
Attention to Detail and Appearance
The components used in this fuzz pedals circuit are critical to its tone and impact on your playing. Each Foxy Tone Box is handcrafted using premium electronic components.
We painstakingly sourced each NOS (New Old Stock) Fairchild 2N3565 transistor used in the original prototype. We combined them with 1N34A germanium diodes, high-watt carbon resistors, and premium film capacitors to achieve the sound of the vintage pedal today.
Its true bypass and sounds like nothing else on earth!
Features & Controls
Like the original, the Foxy Tone Box features controls for Volume, Sustain, and Fuzz (from Mellow to Brite), along with a switch to engage the Octaver. This fuzz pedal is an ideal distortion enclosed in orange velvet!
To get started, keep the Octave off and turn the Fuzz to the Mellow side for warm distortion. Then, engage the Octave effect, turn the Fuzz to Brite, and increase the Sustain for extra gain and over-compressed tones that will blow your mind!
Electric guitar is the obvious choice, but try it on synthesizer, bass, acoustic and electric instruments too. If you can plug a cable into it, the Foxy Tone Box can add character you simply cant get anywhere else.
