Description

The Allen & Heath SQ5+ is a compact 48-channel, 44-bus, 17-fader digital mixing console powered by a 96kHz XCVI processor, delivering clean high-resolution audio, ultra-low latency and flexible mixing control.

The SQ5+ features 17 motorised faders, 8 assignable SoftKeys, a new 9” touchscreen with dark GUI, and 4 built-in RackUltra FX engines, in addition to the 8 RackExtra FX engines. It also supports the latest generation of DEEP Processing add-ons, bringing classic analogue-style processing models directly to the channels and mix strips with no added latency.

Despite its compact size, the SQ5+ is fully expandable. It includes 16 XLR mic/line inputs, 12 XLR outputs, a 128x128 SLink port for connection to the Allen & Heath Everything I/O ecosystem, and an I/O expansion slot for optional Dante, Waves, MADI or SLink cards. With a built-in 32x32 USB audio interface, SQ-Drive recording/playback and optional rack-mount capability, it is an extremely practical solution for professionals who need the power of a large-format console in a compact chassis.
