Premium XLR/TRS Combo Inputs
The FR-AV2 features two XLR/TRS combo inputs suitable for connecting microphones or professional line-level sources. Ultra HDDA preamps with exceptionally low noise (–127 dBu EIN) guarantee outstanding clarity and minimal noise. An additional 3.5 mm stereo input allows the use of wireless microphones or lavaliers.
Ultimate Timecode Synchronization
With built-in timecode support, the FR-AV2 simplifies audio-video synchronization. Via the 3.5 mm input/output, it can sync with DSLR cameras and other devices, while also supporting jam-sync with external timecode generators. Using the optional AK-BT2 Bluetooth adapter, timecode can be wirelessly synchronized with Atomos UltraSync Blue devices.
