The DualZDirect is a 2-channel passive direct box for connecting unbalanced instrument, line, or speaker signals to balanced inputs.
Each input signal is sent to a transformer-isolated XLR output and a parallel Thru jack so it can simultaneously be connected to an amplifier on stage.
Front panel switches engage up to 40 dB of attenuation to accommodate high-level signals, and a low-pass Bessel filter to eliminate high-frequency interference. Rear switches activate a ground lift to reduce hum, and invert the signal polarity to resolve phase issues, such as those which can occur when combining DI and mic sources.
As a fully passive design, the DualZDirect doesnt require an external power source. Passive DIs are often a great match for powered sources such as synthesizers or guitars and basses with active preamps.
Simple and durable, the DualZDirect is a compact DI in a rugged aluminum enclosure with two indpendent channels and a versatile feature set.
