Q-SYS AD-C8T-ZB, a 2-way passive in-ceiling loudspeaker with a zero-bezel design, featuring an 8-inch woofer and a 1.5-inch coaxial compression driver, designed for professional installations where high output, controlled coverage and discreet ceiling integration are required. It supports 70V/100V systems and 8Ω bypass operation.
The frameless design and snap-fit magnetic grille allow for a clean and discreet installation, while the Directivity Matched Transition™ (DMT) waveguide provides smooth and consistent response throughout the coverage area. The loudspeaker offers 90° conical coverage and a frequency response of 70Hz–20kHz (-3dB), making it suitable for conference rooms, retail spaces, event venues, restaurants, hotels and other professional installed audio applications.
It features an 8-inch woofer with a 2-inch voice coil and ferrite magnet, along with a coaxial compression driver with a 1.5-inch voice coil. Continuous power handling is 200W at 8Ω, with a rated power of 400W, 92.5dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 114dB continuous and 126dB peak.
It supports 70V/100V distributed systems through multiple transformer taps, as well as 8Ω bypass operation. Connection is provided via a 4-pin Euroblock connector with parallel output, simplifying daisy-chain wiring in multi-loudspeaker installations.
The construction combines an ABS baffle with a powder-coated steel back can, while the IP44 rating makes it suitable for demanding indoor installations. For mounting, it uses a blind-mount system with three double-stepped, long-travel dog-ear mounting points and includes tile rails, tile rings, cut-out templates, a wire connector and a white grille. It also supports Intrinsic Correction™ voicings through the Q-SYS platform.
