The KH 870 features a bypassable 7.1 High Definition Bass Manager with remote volume control, four routing functions, fourth-order crossover and adjustable acoustic controls. From Mono to 3D, there are uses for the KH 870 in many different system configurations.
Key Features:
7.1 High Definition Bass Management (Remote controlled)
Ultra-deep bass response (18 Hz)
High maximum SPL (116.7 dB, 400 W)
IMPROVING LATERAL CONSISTENCY The latest amplifier technology and acoustic components have been used to ensure the most accurate possible sound reproduction. The drivers, cabinet and carefully designed bass reflex ports guarantee tight, distinct and distortion-free reproduction of low frequencies, even at high playback levels. Using the sum output, the Plane Wave Bass Array™ (PWBA™) techniques improve acoustic lateral consistency in the listening area. Bass extends down to 18 Hz.
FLEXIBLE PLACEMENT OPTIONS The KH 870 subwoofer has been designed to complement Neumanns extensive monitor range and can be used standalone or daisy-chained to create larger systems capable of higher SPL. The KH 870 can be used in music studios, broadcast and post-production studios for tracking, mixing and mastering. The cabinet can be placed next to a wall or flush-mounted to a wall due to its front bass reflex port and can be used in multi-channel systems with other Neumann KH series speakers.
