The large global encoder offers what the other controllers do, but with even greater precision thanks to its surface. Its ideal for fine-tuning and works independently of the selected function, offering powerful capabilities through Nektar DAW integration.
Faders – Mixing or Envelope Control
The 8 faders give you a tactile control experience reminiscent of a real mixing desk. On the LX mk3, they are designed to be used for both mixing and envelope parameter control. Labels above each fader (silkscreen) help you quickly understand their default function.
MIDI Programming Directly from the Instrument
While it has powerful DAW integration, the LX mk3 is primarily a MIDI controller. You can program the controllers directly from the hardware. In Setup mode, you use the large encoder for menu selection and direct MIDI message programming. All settings are saved even after power off and can additionally be saved in 5 presets and 8 pad maps.
Create Your Own Kits Without Interruption!
For beat and groove creation, the 8 dynamic pads make life easy. They respond immediately and evenly to every touch. The Pad Learn function allows you to create drum kits in real-time: hit a pad, play a key – that simple. And if you keep Pad Learn active, you can evolve your kit as you play, without interrupting the flow of creation.
Performance Tools
The Impact LX mk3 offers powerful performance tools, useful for both beginners and advanced users. The Scale function allows you to create melodies without worrying about the correct key – keeping notes within the selected scale. The Chord and Hold functions provide additional freedom and creativity.
