Description

Q-SYS AD-MR8, a metal pre-installation mud ring for selected Q-SYS AcousticDesign in-ceiling loudspeakers, designed for use in drywall or plaster ceilings before the final installation of the loudspeaker. It allows the installer to accurately define the loudspeaker position and cutout during the construction stage.

Its flanged design creates a clean and stable outline around the opening, making the work of the drywall or plaster installer easier and reducing the risk of errors during the final cut. At the same time, it helps with preparing and routing the cabling before the ceiling is completed, speeding up the final loudspeaker installation.

The AD-MR8 is compatible with selected Q-SYS models, including the AD-C6T-LPZB, AD-C.SUB, AD-C8T-ZB, AD-C8T-SWZB, AD-C10T-HPZB and AD-C6T-HC. The internal diameter is O305mm, while the total weight is approximately 0.5kg. It is supplied and sold in packs of six (6).
