Yamaha has more than 60 years of history as an audio brand. The R-N1000As technology comes directly from ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology), Yamahas legendary Hi-Fi philosophy. ToP-ART preserves the integrity of the sound by combining a meticulously symmetrical left/right circuit layout and signal directness (straighter, shorter signal paths) with a highly rigid, low-vibration chassis. That chassis includes the special “Art Base” resin frame, which absorbs and blocks unwanted vibration, keeping the sound clear and dynamic.
ANTI-RESONANCE FEET
The R-N1000A also uses Anti-Resonance feet designed around the principle of vibration absorption. Thin, curved reinforcing ribs around the outer edge and thick, straight ribs at the center disperse and reduce vibration entering from the outside of the foot, while maintaining high rigidity at the core. The result is focused sound that lets you fully feel the rhythm and dynamics of the music.

A custom-made power transformer and block capacitors, a single-point grounding system, high-grade audio capacitors and other premium components handle demanding audio signals with ease. THE LOW-IMPEDANCE CONCEPT
To eliminate energy loss and audio signal degradation, the R-N1000A uses thick ground wiring, a key feature that marks it as a genuinely premium Hi-Fi component. In addition, a screw-fastened connection is used at the output of the power amplifier section to strengthen the grounding, which is essential for sound quality. This improves the signal-to-noise ratio, allowing sound to be reproduced with complete clarity.
